About

A.J. Rocca is a writer of (mostly) speculative fiction and critical essays. I read a lot of Science Fiction and Fantasy when pursuing my degrees, and as a writer I’ve found spec fic to be an indispensable lens for exploring political and philosophical problems: what would hostile architecture designed to keep out faeries look like? What would asteroid miners make of the communist manifesto? What would Don Quixote do if he ran into actual giants?

Maybe he’d remark that they might be windmills.
